VISIONS:

    • VISIONS will cover  25 (max) public entities/services of American Life.
    • VISION statements will meet the criteria:
      • Focus is on on positive, beneficial attributs or goals.
      • Simply stated to be easy to remember.
      • A maximum of 15 statements per Vision.
      • Excludes NO, NEVER, other negatives and anything unwanted.
      • Excludes references to political parties, campaigns, iand current news.
      • Excludes references to individuals.
      • Carefully worded to express the desires of the largest number of Americans. 
      • May be sumitted by anyone.
      • Will be screened and curated by a jury process.

    • VISION UPDATES
      • At the end of each month, the statistics from the app will rank the visions used by frequency of use.
      • Those used under 3% of the total in its VISION category become candidates for replacement by new submissions.
      • Candidate submissions as new VISIONS are prescreened automatically against the citeria stated above.
      • The VISION jury (composition to be determined) will review the submissions and provisionally accept at most 5 per VISION category.
      • Accepted entries will be weighed by the jury and balanced against:
        • openings in the VISION category (max of 15)
        • attributes with under 3% usage in prior month
        • provisionally accepted entries carried forward from the prior month.
      • Once the new VISION entries are determined, at most 5 remaining provisionally approved entries will be carried forward.
      • The website and app are updated and an announcement released of the changes.

    • APPEAL PROCESS
      • After the announcement of changes, submitters of unapproved entries can submit an appeal with a written argument for why their attribute statement should replace a specified existing attribute.
      • Appeal submissions will be entered into the review process with the submitter’s justification.
      • If the submission is not accepted into the 15 posted statements or the 5 carry-forward provisionally-accepted statements, the Jury Secretary will compose an explanation letter of the rejection to the submitter.
      • The decision of the jury is final with submission the submission of the explanatory letter.
